Mooneggs wrote:If anyone wants to see a picture of what a carbon fiber wiper cowl looks like next to a CF hood let me know I can post some pictures. I have a CF front lip, hood, wiper cowl, power folding CF mirrors, door sills, interior handles, bezel, armrest, and ashtray. I can post pics if you are wondering what these parts look like in CF.

Too good to be true......
See that's the problem... no faith...

I talked with barry (custommx3) yesterday about getting pics posted... I'm new to the whole bulletin board thing (I can't even quote correctly) but I have been riding mx-3's for 6 years now... I have many rare parts and pieces on both my cars... I am off from both my jobs next week so I hope to take a bunch of pics and get my cars out there for all mx-ers to see.

My klze was a daily driver for almost 3 years so I am hoping to get all the CF re-clear coated this summer... there is a lot of haze on my hood!

Its hard to see the Carbon Fiber in most of your pictures due to the quality of your Cell Phone but they are indeed better than nothing.

The carbon fiber is very hard to make out thou you can just barely see it in the one picture of the wiper cowl and the mirrors.

When you take more pictures maybe take some a little closer of each peace you've had done in Carbon Fiber that way the weave will show up in the picture to give us an idea of what they look like.

I like what you're doing so far!

thanks for posting the pics ... I figured out how to do it this morning after a few test runs.

The camera on my phone is only a 2.0 mega pixel. I'll be using my girfriend's 7.0 mega pixel camera next week. I will be starting a worklog for my projects I am working on... I'll take close ups of everything! Like I said I just wanted to throw a few pictures on there for now so you can see what I've got!
