Kl header on a k8

Post by MazdaRider »

I know people say th kl header will fit the k8
But from the head to the block do the ports match up or does it leak
Or would it be better to just cut an weld the original ports back on the new header

So no need to modify the flange to the block even the gaskets are fine

Some headers will hit the bottom of the oil pan, if so just add 2 1/4" 3 bolt metal flanges (one front one rear) between the down pipes and the cross over pipe and that'll give you a little clearance.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
