I am unable to get 12v to the compressor. Everything used to work(2 months ago). I removed the clutch from the compressor so it would not engage anymore(clutch was no good) but would use the a/c button so the fans would come on. Since then, I have wired in a switch/relay to control both fans.
I've checked fuses.
I can feed the compressor 12v and it works great.
I jumped the high pressure switch, even though its relatively new, nothing,
System is charged and ready to go.
Anyone?

Re: A/C problems.
What about the actual switch? I would jumper the a/c switch to see if that's the problem.

I don't think its the switch, as it still raises the idle when pressed, lights up and used to trigger the fans on even after i removed the clutch from the compressor.MazdaMech wrote:What about the actual switch? I would jumper the a/c switch to see if that's the problem.
Ill test it to make sure I still have 12v out.

Re: A/C problems.
BAM! fixed it. Somehow the blue/yellow wire that runs from the fuse box to the compressor, was rubbing at one time and had completely broke. A/C! hooray!
