i have a badly runing KLZE!!!!!!!... help me plz

Post by Tfries-cc »

at low rpm, it idles verrry rough. it goes up and down from 1000 rpm to 1500... its annoying

and it feels like it grabbs pretty good at low rpmand quarter throttle down. but if i go any more than quarter throttle, it hesitates and you can tell by feel and sound.

high rpm is the same thing, but more power loss, it gaccelorates better but deffadently not how it should.

what do i need to adjust on the throttle body to make it RIP :P

NOTE: i have ported out my intake and i have grinded out the center shaft on my throttle body for more air flow. im using the K8 intake and throttle body the ZE intake and throttle body wont fit

plz help plz!

Did you follow our advise in your other post, viewtopic.php?f=15&p=624488#p624488, and source a KL02 VAF to replace the JE50 that doesn't work well with the 1996 ZE swap. If not then get a KL02 and try it along with setting your idle and TPS as suggested then report back. Secondly, your engine will never run well with a K8 intake, you need to source a Millenia curved neck intake or use the straight neck that comes on some ZE's. Cheers.

As a side note once you have made these corrections clear the ECU's memory so it can 'learn' to run with the new components/settings.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
