I was able to pass again today using the method I listed above...

Idle emissions: HC 130 (max allowed: 220), CO 0.8203 (max allowed: 1)

when you talking about seafoaming the engine, are you pouring the seafoam through the hole that leads to the intake manifold? or directly through the pcv into the engine itself?

Divide the seafoam into 3 parts

pour 1 in the gas tank

1 part in the oil if your engine is low on miles. under 150000. Or you have been seafoaming for a looooong time of owning the car. The reason being is any gunked up oil plugging tiny holes in the gaskets or a hole here or there willl be cleaned and the engine will leak. If over the 150ish mark just pour in the cup and use in the PVC line (change oil after 200 miles)

1 part in a cup. While the engine is running take the PCV valve off thh valve cover with the hose connected and slurp the seafoam in. If you let it suck to fast the engine will stall. Also remember to have a extra person keep the revs at 1000rpm or use the throttle cable yourself to keep the revs up because once you remove the PVC valve the engine will stall. After you have sucked up all the liquid from the cup shut the car off and wait 30 minutes. Then cut the car back on and let it idle until all the smoke clears. Occasionally rev the engine and keep the rpms high for a few seconds here and there. warning there is ALOT of smoke so be prepared lol

But seafoam wont help you with california smog I already tried lol

try using some high gas(91) and getting some methyl hydrate pour the whole can into the gas tank let it run for about 5 minutes, then drive the hell out of it let it get really hot. then take it in. it will burn all the unburned fuel out. I use this every time I get a etest and never had a problem.
