Nice thanks for following! Yeah dirty & sexy is what comes out of my mind, lol
I have just purchased a completely uncracked 323 manifold now, very happy as its one less thing to worry about
for when the time comes to go and get the map sorted, had a quote for £400 at a place not too far away from me
who are AEM specailists.
Good luck with your build Bro I'll keep an eye on it

Are the brackets hugely different? I've got access to a set of these but it never occurred to me to try and make them fit, they are very comfortable. Let us know how it goes!

A quick measure on my work buddies leather seats suggest only 40mm (20mm each side) difference width wise on the front, but until I get both sets of sliders together I cant say. Will post up how it goes soon, ETA for the seats is 12th-14th of the 3rd.

Re: Sam's 1.6 MX-3- LT Turbo project.
And here there are, sitting cosy in my front room for now! Very happy as they are mint for £140 delivered for the pair was a real steal.
Have stripped the back of one to take the base into work and start making the brackets, but...
Currently battling out a few running issues which are holding up the real mods. I wanna make. Snapped two alternator belts in a matter of weeks (Lesson learnt, don't trust a certain garage anymore after they put the belt on without even loosening off any of the tensioners! wanna know how they did that tbh?!)
Was in a rush as had to get the Dentist..
I put a new belt on the weekend and elimanated all the horrible screeching, my sump plug has started weeping and I'm loosing water from my coolant system somewhere,
New rad. on the way so I can cut that from the equation and if that doesn't solve it I'm going to simplify the system even more with an inline filler neck and coolant catch can
as I cannot see coolant leaking on the floor so it must be evaporating into steam somewhere.
MOT next month so will touch and go as to whether I will get the new seats in for that or just afterwards depending on how arsey the brackets are to fab up.
As you can see not a million miles away, but enough for the need of some custom feet on the celica subframes to match
up to the mx floorpan. The rear mount closest to the handbrake is sidemounted so that would need to come off anyway.

Re: Sam's 1.6 MX-3- LT Turbo project.
Try bolting them to 323 seat rails! I had to do that with my recaros cause the mx3 ones had the one side shorter than the other.
