Is that manifold from the 323 GTX with the b6t? If you decide to go for a bigger I'm almost certain that a Vj20 or VJ11 should bolt up on that manifold.
And have you picked yourself up some upgraded injectors? What are you gonna run for engine management?

How much boost do you plan on running? I've heard of guys running BP or F2T injectors on BPTs at low boost so it might be something comparable there.

well until i switch over to head studs, install a miata crank and flywheel and some better compression pistons, im only gonna run 8.5 lbs of boost, i believe thats what the stock waste gate is set to, then after the motor is bulked up and megasquirt is installed ill run i nice conservitave tune at probably 10 or 12 lbs of boost, this is my dd after all lol
so my tranny went out after taking it apart found out the diff was bad, ill put up pics, and do a little write up on how to remove your tranny, anyways i threw in my spare tranny, adjusted my clutch and its been driving well ever since, when the car is cold, it grinds going into reverse and thats it!
The thing about that anti-drop bracket is that once the rubber has come apart int here you're losing all the anti-vibration that it was designed to provide.
Mine fell a few years ago so I went to the wreckers and found that the Extension Bar is the same in all MX-3s and 2nd gen progetes. Part #23 in this picture...
Very easy to change and a better solution than the anti-drop bracket.
94' RS/GS/MS/CF Monster Turbo...coming soon.
93' GS SE, the Black Beast, the former love of my life...soon to be gutted and crushed.
94' GS, black on black, now in several small pieces...and one large crushed piece.

yeah it does hopefully theyll be here soon and im currently dicking with the drop bracket, its starting to bend backwards and my shifter is slowly dropping
The stock GTX runs around 8 pounds of boost, but you'll find if you open up the exhaust, and intake you might end up with boost creep... The waste gate on the VJ14's is really small... while you have it out, try and port it.. This will help you have better control...

sounds like a good idea, now remember for now this will only be running on stock internals and stock head bolts lol so i cant go to nuts
Just depends on how many miles are on your engine and how it has been taken care of. The stock internals are amazingly strong, you can boost up to 14psi which is pretty much maxing that little turbo out all day long if you have it tuned properly. The B6DE makes way more power than the GTX with the same turbo. The ports on the DE are much much larger. I would highly recommend port matching the exhaust manifold to the head. This helps a ton!. You should easily see 160-170 to the wheels on 8psi.
