Hey!, I just did this a few months ago on my Milly engine. Easy-peazy!

1. The stock throttle cable is about an inch too long, and needs to be re-routed.
2. Unbolt all the brackets holding the cable.
3. Route the cable forward at about a 30 degree angle to the axis of the engine.
4. Loop it BACK toward the passenger compartment, then toward the Milly two-stage throttle linkage.
5. Make a trial fitting by running the cable under the rotating cable guide and attach the cable.
6. You ahould see that the cable is about an inch too long for the adjuster to take up.
7. Fix in one of two ways:
a. Make a small plate with two sets of hole it fit, bolt the plate to the manifold using the stock holes, then bolt the cable bracket to the plate.
b. or do what I did; drill a 1/4" hole as far to the free edge as possible and lined up with the bottom hole of the bracket. File a notch on the free edge, in line with the upper hole. Bolt the bracket on. The upper bolt should snug into the notch, and yes, only 1/2 of the bolt will catch the edge. As long as the bottom bolt is tight, the notch just serves to keep the bracket from rotating. I'm six months out from putting this in place and the notch is working without a hitch.
8. The remaining cable brackets can be bolted to convenient locations near the top center of the manifold. I bolted only the one in the center-rear of the engine, leaving the front center bracket loose. I'll probably fix that at the next convenient opportunity.

Just by the way, mine is a stock 95 Milly with KL31 square-port heads, headers and 2.25" exhaust. It needs one of the old Dodge Omni GLH emblems instead of the V6 emblem; GLH = Goes Like Hell! I hope yours works out as well!

See if these help:

and the routing. As I mentioned, I'll do something about the loose bracket soon!

Wow, I forgot that left hand drive cars might have that problem. How is the K8 routed? I thought those two manifolds were very similar in shape, I wonder why they used such a long cable?
