I would recommend purchasing a evaporator core on ebay. You'd only need to get the box for it then. It'll also be nice and clean and not gunked up old one.

Those bits you're looking for, I imagine they're in the interior right? And do you know if they're bolted or clipped down? I'm checking out a parts car next week that has AC, it's a GS with a BP installed so it should fit and depending on difficulty of removal I could probably remove them and ship them down.

Hmm, I have everything you're looking for, sitting on my living room floor.

There's another GS w/ A/C in the junkyard currently... I'm supposed to try and yank the front lip off of it when I head in as well. I'll snag the pipes for you, since I prefer to keep my set complete in case I ever need it.

That would be legit. You wouldnt even have to ship it I could swing by and give you the cash for them on my KLZE journey

I'd pull one from a JY from you but it's damn near impossible getting the lines out of the engine bay without destroying the lines. You need a compressor or upper hose? Those are easy to pull and I could get one for you easily enough.

I thought junk yards drain the system before you pull the lines or did you get a V6?

and i have been looking at yards near me but no V6's around :(

JYs are supposed to drain it first you're right. It's just that the hose connectors need a lot of force to break loose and there just isn't room for to get a wrench in there nicely and push hard.

I had the right size wrenches and I was pushing as hard as possible and had to give up on a couple of my AC connectors and move on to another one because of how tough it was, and that was with the engine pulled.
