The NAPA Gold filter #1324 for the ZR1 fits perfectly. Stanley needs to keep his cup in place.

So what is the diameter of the wrong 0-ring and what is the diameter of the correct 0-ring?
Just another Mx3 freak :)

I didn't measure the wrong one, but it was about 1.5 inches too large.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I'm not sold on the ZR1 filter idea. I remember reading some threads on the MX6 forums giving opinion on why it's worse, due to oil pressure changes etc. Not to mention your oil changes costing more :P

I'd say a better idea would be designing aftermarket headers that don't get too close and personal with the oil pan.

I have a strong urge to dislike people who start talking about oil filters and oil pressure.

First of all,

N-E-G-L-I-G-I-B-L-E

And second, most people don't have the foggiest idea what they're talking about.

Wanna know what I call a negligible improvement? An improvement. No reason to get emotional.
You know what a bunch of negligible improvements add up to? Noticeable improvements.
It's like I say to the people who get upset that I was a part of the "Occupy" movement. Why get upset about something that doesn't affect you negatively?
Oh the problems we have in the first world :crying:

A bunch of negligible improvements fall in the shadow of a REAL improvement.

You don't over inflate your tires to gain MPG when your calipers stick. You put the big rocks in the can before the sand or you won't get nearly as much in.

Fancy pants race motor improvements are silly unless you do the worth while ones first.
