lower rad hose

Post by mikeinaus »

do our cars have a custom molded lower rad hose? mine is in desperate need of replacement and i cant find any in the 3 local stores ive called. ive also tried ebay and rock auto and the only hoses i can find are bypass hoses and upper rad hoses. any chance this is a dealer only piece or should i go with one of those custom bendable ones?

This question comes up every so often. It was my question about 1 year ago. I took the lower hose from my car as worked with a parts store to find one that would work. I meant to post with a part number but forgot. If I find it I will add it to this thread. After I did my parts matching I found a few sites selling a lower radiator hose that is a direct replacement with this part number:
OES Genuine W0133-1755471 Radiator Hose

Dealer would also work.
