First off, thank you for your concern mikeetown. I sent you a message on youtube. I should note that I created a thread on the mx-3 forums, but perhaps didn't name the thread as aptly as you.

Also, Ryan, I noticed my Alpine stereo buttons flickering in the last couple days, so today when I got home I checked my negative lead and pulled it off by hand. I undid the terminal, put it back on as far as I could and tightened it back up. If I get a chance in the next day or two I'll put it on a trickle charge to get the battery up to snuff, cause I don't do a lot of highway driving. We'll see what kind of improvement is felt, though I still think there's more at play here.
You made me think of something else too, and that's adding improved engine grounds. I think I can do it for reasonably cheap.
