300,000kms Club OR A Little Less Than 200,000 Miles Club

Post by Daninski »

Ok, mooneggs posted his cars mileage 300,000+ so I got the idea we should have a post so we can all post in one location. The idea is to take a pic of your odometer once you reach 300,000kms then post. Now I understand a lot of you are still in miles so I'm not sure how we should work that. I'd appreciate any input and then I'll delete most of this bla bla and I'll post what ever guild lines are suggested. Anyone with more than 300,000 are free to post as well of course. Mine passed 300,000 a couple months ago. Input please.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

300,000 MILES not Kilometers... Theres a big difference as MM92 pointed out...

You might as well rename it "the a little less than 200,000 miles club" In that case I think the Race Car qualifies 8)

Where's Ian and his 500'000+km cluster from his car...

My car only got up to 243, even the 626 made it only to 296'000kms. The trucks sitting at 157 and the 8 at 56'000, so I've got a while to go....

The car I learned to drive sits at at 223K miles or roughly 360k KM.

Not bad for a GMC Suburban  Tranny went at about 200K miles, fuel pump at 220k.

You weren't kidding. I met up with Ian a few weeks ago to pick up parts and he showed me the actual cluster! I of course had to document this:

Haha I'm still under 200k Km's, so got a long way to go! Might be near 300k kms by the time I think of selling, though ;) (that's if I ever do!)
That gauge cluster looks real good, btw, is it just painted silver & clearcoated or something?

I"m at 337,000km. Car's going strong. I see no reason why it won't make 500...except that I may just get tired of trying to fix the body and get another one.

If I swap the whole interior and most or all of the drivetrain and mechanical but leave the old body behind can I rightfully swap my 330k cluster into another car or is that cheating?

I'm at 213,700km. Car's in pretty awesome shape, but some nuts/bolts have a pretty good deal of rust on them, since it spent the first 17 years and 180,000kms of her life on Vancouver Island, mostly just sitting in the driveway and doing some highway once a week.
