Does anyone know what these are/are for?

Post by ethand »

I just re-found these in my cupboard... they were in the glove box of my Presso when I bought it, and I've never been able to figure out what they are/where they're from...
Anyone have any idea?
This is about 9.5x6.5cm (approx 3.5x2.5 inches) and seems to be made of rubber/vinyl. It's backing reminds me of an iron on haha! I've scoured the interior of the car, and can't seem to find where it's from. I'm thinking it might be from the original Service log book, which was never passed on to me... What you guys think?

This thing I have absolutely no idea at all what it could be!! It's dark transparent plastic, approx 3.5cm tall (1.5 inches), and base diameter of about 5.5cm (2.25 inch)...

the badge looks like the one that is on the floor mats, the globe does not look like anything from the car.

I agree 100%... those are definately from the floor mats... I was looking at one of my sets the other day

The globe looks like part of a toy or kitchen appliance :freak:

Ah, ok, Dali... I know my car must have had the factory (optional?) mats when new, as it has the full rear set in mint condition (black with red ribbing around the edges, but no badges), but there were no mats in the front when i got it, so I'd say your right.
I reckon you might be right about the bulb-ish thing, too - I really can't see where it might've come from... Hahah lol, moon, maybe you're right haha ;)
Mystery solved! :)

My rear ones are also completely different to that... mine are much smaller, and there's a 3rd mat for the trans tunnel in the middle... Mine also have a rubbery ribbing, not fabric like that...
My car's a '92, so it's quite possible that they had different matts for different years?
