What's a CAT? <P>Man I'm dumb...I just don't understand what the term "cat-back" means...do you mean like building the exhaust from the engine back?<P>Thanks (and I know I'm dumb...please don't point it out )

a cat is the catalytic converter, and a cat-back exhaust means it replaces everything from the catalytic converter back.

the cat is located under the the front about where your feet are under your car, it doesnt look like pipeing it looks like a box. this is for mainly emissions use you can remove it but i dont suggest it, catback meens everything from this back if your gonna do an exaust you should just get a new downpipe too while your at it.
