Sound off if you're ready to make a deposit. So far, this is the list of people expressing interest...

Aaron Tietje (full set)
Ryan (Lateral Links and Fronts)...I understand you're not ready right now but I know you're good for it.
Sleeper6 (full set)
Ice_mann (full set)
mikeinaus (rear set)
Stereoking15 (rear set)
300zxrb26dett (lateral links only)
mi|<e (full set)
Whitefinish (full set)
studboy13 (full set)
bbunker397 (full set)
garfy19811 (full set...I think...)

If you can all come through with a deposit in the next few weeks I think I could pump this out in about 6 weeks. There is one outstanding item I'm trying to get sorted out. It doesn't affect availability but it does affect whether or not I can update the product first.

Please let me know where you stand and if I have what you want correctly listed. Hardness is not necessary at this time.

Thanks,
Charlie

i may be able to come up with some money in the next few weeks. getting these made later rather then sooner would be better as i wouldnt be installing until next summer. but i dont want to miss out on the buy...

i read in the other thread you dont reccomend over 70 hardness on the rear lateral links. do you consider them to be a worthwhile upgrade over the stock bushings? only asking cuz money is still pretty tight and 1 set of bushings would be alot easier to afford then 2...

As for deposits, for a full set I would need $150. In the past I required buyers of less than full kits to pay in full up front. In this case I will require 50% of your purchase in advance. I think that's fair. Pricing from the first buy is still in effect.

Mike(inaus)...the information in the old thread on hardness was speculative. At that time I hadn't used the bushings yet. Since then I have run with 70 all around and now with 80 all around for over a year. I think 80 is ideal for the back end, but for comfort on daily drivers I would suggest 70 for the front and it is a decent increase in stiffness over stock. For reference, a guy with a lab on miata.net tested their stock bushings at 60-65A. It doesn't sound like much but 70A is quite a bit harder than 60A.

For those who want to be really stiff in front, 80A is great. I would never do 90, but a couple of guys have and I haven't heard anythign back from them...so I guess they're happy.

After looking at the pricing from the original, and since I only want TTL bushings, I will just pay mine in full anyway. Let me know when your ready to receive payment and I will send it thru.

anyone who would like to pay in full up front is welcome to do so. The issue is the minimum order from the machine shop for sleeves. I have to order 30 minimum of each part and 300 minimum total. A minimum order comes in at around $1500. Then I have to buy custom washers, lube and pay for the poly parts. Altogether it costs a little over $3000 to put 10 full sets together not including shipping supplies.

Just so you all understand why I ask for a large deposit. I'm on the hook for about $1500 of my own money until I get your final payments.

Can deposit whenever you like. I have a 94 RS MX and from what I read the front LCA
may not be compatible? Size issue with the one bushing?

This guy:

If that is the case and all it takes is sourcing some smaller shells from the correct model
this isn't even an issue.

Actually no. The only difference between RS and GS is in the rear trailing arm bushing. The one on the rear spindle. It is the same diameter but shorter on the RS than the GS, but can be easily fit with a little trimming which I will do for you if you like.

The rear LCA shelled bushing is the same on all MX-3's but changed to a larger diameter in 06/94. If your car was made after that date you would need to pull a pair of the smaller ones from an earlier model as I used the smaller, more common size in my design.

If you can't find them I can usually source a pair of used ones for about $10.
