FE3 has made more power out of the two. but its a route not many have gone. if i was lazy, id do the KLZE. if i was going after maximum power, the fe3 is def the way to go.

I can see why I got the lol....I spent like 3 hours watching you tube last night. Holy **** these cars can go fast! I bought a $300 Saturn and the mx-3....was going to sell one...starting to think about keeping the mx-3....

My car seems like such a dog right now...just welding in a header from a 1.9 mx-6 that I modified...Which means I have to delete the egr....would be cool to know the proper way to do that on my car....I read up on it but some say this and some say that...anyone know if my car goes manifold, cat, resonator, cat, muffler or is it manifold, cat, cat, resonator, muffler? Will try to find it on here but some help would be sweet as I'm just about to :welder: it up. I took out the first two and left the third

FE3 is alot of work to get in an Mx-3, it's not designed to take an f-series motor. If you have a V6, a KLZE is drop right in. If you have a 4cyl, you're best route is a BP. It'll make some very good power, ya the FE3 is better than a BP, but it'll take some significant money put into the motor to the point that you've maxed out a BP and need to move to an FE3.

FE3 is not that hard at all to fit in an mx3. The hardest part is finding it. If your car is a 4cyl I say do the bpt or boost an fe3 if its the v6 then swap in a klde and boost it.

And once thats done good lucking beating a lexus isf

I'm keeping my eyes out for one, I'm still having power issues with my bp. Just finished putting that header on it from the mx-6.... had to extend the wiring for the O2 but the rest was easy. Acceleration went up quite a bit but not where I feel it should be. Noticed that there was some oil in the intake tube, maybe the throttle-body is plugged up? When I was trying to set the idle (jumped ten and ground) it would only go up to like 800 even with the screw backed out all the way. Un less it's the fuel pressure or injectors? Any clue would help.
