7 years of obsession has gotten me these parts... (and quite a bit of $$$$)

Re: Mooneggs - 92 mx-3 "daily driver" IP 1/15 awesome parts
So I haven't updated in a while and mostly because I have just been daily driving the daily driver ( ). I put my 14" American Racing rims with 185/65/14 tires on for the winter... On Christmas Eve I headed down to San Fransisco to visit some relatives for Christmas and then learned how to snowboard at their cabin near Bear Valley, CA. After that I decided to head over to visit my Mom in AZ for a few days. On New Year's Day I drove over to LA to visit my sister for a day... then headed back home on 1/2... All in all about 2,000 miles on this roadtrip... great way to start off the year!! And I was getting between 30-35 mpg on each tank! not bad for a ZE with 150k + miles!
The day after I returned home I was pretty tired and I made a fail mistake by busting my passenger side mirror cover on the side frame of my garage (d'oh). Anyways, I didn't have any more spare covers except for my CF overlaid ones so I figured, why not. While I was at it I wired up my spare set of JDM power folding mirrors to make sure they actually worked (never tried them before). It was challenging as the wires were cut extremely close to the base so I ended up soldering them all and placing heatshrink over them.
Since I put the CF mirrors on I decided that since I'm not sure when the race car will be driveable again, I might as well swap over all the awesome parts! I swapped these parts:
MS Steering wheel
CF inner door handles
CF armrest
CF glovebox
CF fusebox cover
CF ashtray (I already had this installed)
Also I decided to make my interior lighting on the CC switches and hazard/defrost red. I took apart all of the switches and swapped off the green mini rubbers for red ones from spare hazard sets I had lying around. It turned out great and I replaced a few burnt out bulbs while I was at it... now the red lighting matches my plasma gauges and HVAC cover!
I'll take some pics of the CF stuff installed soon... these other pics are from around Thanksgiving time when I drove to San Francisco the 1st time...

Finally took a few pics of my interior with the red illuminated buttons and MS wheel installed
I took a trip up to Canada to pick up a bunch of parts from solo_ryder... and it snowed!
I also was in 2 autocross races... put on the racing tires and CF hatch! Check out the pics here: http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.ph ... 11#p576711

Re: Mooneggs - 92 mx-3 "daily driver" IP 3/12 1st autocross
How well does the mx3 as a car in general do in solo events? I have a good friend that has been bugging me to get into it.
We all want to be fast and look cool. Cool changes but fast never does.

I'm looking for gauges like that too. There are lots on eBay, but the only ones that are KM/h rather than MPH are $100+. The MPH ones are only like $30.

Race car hasn't been driven in over a year and a half. I basically need to tear into the motor to find out what's wrong... just been lazy...Nd4SpdSe wrote:Mooneggs wrote: I'm not sure when the race car will be driveable again
