16 x 8 wheels
Incorrect offset, wheels are sticking out.
I've had the fenders rolled.
My K-SPORT coilovers will only camber in the front and that's the only thing I think will help, even though my tires will still wear on the inside.
Any ideas on how I should go about handling this issue besides just selling the wheels and starting over b/c I really like the wheels.

Re: 16 x 8 wheels
Well you have two issues.
1. What size tires are those? The only way those wheels MAY will fit is if you stretch some 195/45 or 195/50s, maybe even 185's on there, then run camber bolts on the rear to get the camber in as far as you can go
2. Those are XXR 522 right? Honestly, the 16x8 +0 offset is more suited for 240's etc, the best option here woulda been the 16x7 +25, those would fit with minimal fender rolling and camber adjustments ans still give you a concave look. Another option woulda been rota grid offroad 16x8 +20

Holy sh*t, yeah you're not gonna fit 8" wide rims on an MX-3 without either them sticking out like that (low or zero offset) or something rubbing.

Re: 16 x 8 wheels
Doesnt look hot to me at all, the offset is incorrect for the car. Needs to get a milder offset for it to fit at least half decent

Re: 16 x 8 wheels
I used 17x7 with 40 off set, they look good and have a 1 inch polished dish. Also 205/50/16 is a good option but with that crazy off set your going to either half to get different rims or modify the suspension somehow.

I'm runnin 215/40/17's... no issues at all
you'll probably have to just suck it up and start over. I'm sure you'll never make this mistake again.

Re: 16 x 8 wheels
Lol u guys... He doesn't want run of the mill rims and tires. I know the look he's going for and my suggestions fit his needs.
OP, what's the plan? I'd say sell em to a 240 guy and get the +25 ones or the offroads.

Re: 16 x 8 wheels
Haha they call em offroads because they were meant for small SUV's and trucks like tacomas. However, they made them in 4x100 bolt patterns so ppl have been using em on cars. Look at this sexyness:
Props to the OP for stepping outside the box. I am interested to see how the 522's will fit in the +25 offset, if they look good then I will proly get them next year

Re: 16 x 8 wheels
Ya, those actually look good. he needs the +25 to get that look though. I'm using a +45.

Re: 16 x 8 wheels
Yea those are a +10 or +20.
I suggested he get a +25 7" rim, that will fit really nice with a 195 tire and if he needs more poke he can use small spacers

Re: 16 x 8 wheels
That integra looks real good! If i ever get new rims I would love to get something like that. With K-sports and proper offset wheels he should be able to fit 16-8's since the k-sports will give more clearance on the inner side due to the smaller size compared to OEM struts/springs

Re: 16 x 8 wheels
That's what I've got right now but I want to switch to 16x7 and a slightly lower offset to give a more flush look with the body. But what the OP has is just over the top. OP did you have to replace wheel bearings like crazy yet?bbunkerc397 wrote:I used 17x7 with 40 off set
