Huh? No that actually sounds like a vacuum leak.

what do you mean your throttle cable is a pain to use? bad motor mounts would cause more shaking/wheel hop then reving problems wouldnt they?

Learn to use the clutch :p jking.

Yeah sounds more like vaccum probs to me. If you have the stock accordian tubes check all that carefully. Motor mounts would cause more wheel hop/slap as stated above. AWR mounts will make your car a little sexier (internally) but likely wont fix your prob.

If OP is talking about wheel hop and not surging idle then filled motor mounts or AWR mounts will help. If the problem is with idle or engine misfire under acceleration then other solutions are needed.

Its just hoppin around like a pissed off bunny rabbit. It's not a vacuum leak ! Maybe it is. However! when i say the throttle is a pain to use. I'm referring to it binding. Sometimes its sticky sometimes it works great. So basically I'm riding the clutch hard. Stage 3 clutch to I know that will help with it being a jerk-mobile. All of my vacuum stuff is in the clear. It idles great its just when you engage the clutch and try to accelerate. UNLESS your a seasoned pro its basically a pain in the -Insert word here- to drive. :)

Stage 3 for street use,,,BIG mistake. Is the engine reving smooth just jerky when you let out the clutch. Could be the clutch? Is the clutch broken in yet and was the fly wheel machined before you installed the clutch? Finally look at your front and rear mount and you can see if they're pooched or not.

that would be your stage 3 clutch and motor mounts. stage 3 has alot more grip and engages quicker then a normal clutch would. try filling your motor mounts or buy a set of awr mounts.

take a look at your ball joints and see if there is alot of play. mine were pretty fucked and alot of my wheel hop went away when i replaced them.
