good day all, its been a while since i posted any progress on my car so here's the deal

last weekend, I swapped out my dirty old K8 motor, and finally put in my KLZE, took me the whole weekend to do the swap, all by myself was the biggest reason for that lol. pics below..

So far she runs like a champ, a very exhaust leaking champ, but none the less. I'll be doing a few final things like hooking up the cruise control vacum line and putting a new exhaust gasket in but otherwise great success

Congrats man! Though that K8 looked pretty clean. What kid of paint did you use for the VCs? Also how did you get the Pace Setters to fit?

I used Duplicolor on the valve covers, which hold up to the heat nice, but chip easy as i've already put a few chip on then from tools

As for the pacesetters, they were kind-of a b*$#h, i had to use oxy acetylene to heat then up and bent the end of the header down farther so that it didnt rub on the floor of the car.

Oh ya man, I ended up putting them aside and using the SS ones. I do want to use them eventually, I just have to get them modded somehow to fit. I wish I could weld...

yeah, i didn't have much choice, so i had to fix them, if i would have know before i put the motor in, i would have properly cut and re-weld the end pointing a bit more downward. and welding isnt hard, welding pretty is..

and the pacesetters sound like a--, but they haul lol
