Today,
I just tried a quarter can of Sea Foam Motor Treatment. (Thru the vacuum hose)
For those of you who haven't seen this product before... http://www.seafoamsales.com/motor-treatment.html
It is said to help by removing carbon deposits, freeing sticky valve lifters and rings curing rough idle, pinging and hesitation problems.
Once you add it to your engine, you can see it take effect as your entire street will be filled with black exhaust smoke. It was ridiculous.. I will finish the bottle this week and film it.. you guys have to see this.. Hilarious.
I will post video to youtube then post the link up here..

I used a half can about 10 days ago, I drove for about 15 minutes before the smoke cleared. Mine looked more like steam though, almost pure white.JDMChris wrote:Today,

Yeah it definitely makes a lot of smoke but apart from the pics of the B6 valves in the 4-cyl section I haven't actually seen hard evidence of its effectiveness.

My idle seems to be smoother, and the ticking(I still think it's the lifters) is about 25% quieter._-Night-Shade-_ wrote:Yeah it definitely makes a lot of smoke but apart from the pics of the B6 valves in the 4-cyl section I haven't actually seen hard evidence of its effectiveness.
Not to mention it made for the most entertaining smoke show I've ever seen from an Mx3 in person. That alone was worth the money. In addition to the dirty looks I got driving down N.W. Expressway at 65 MPH with a 20 foot smoke cloud following me.
