im an idiot when it comes to this stuff, what do i need to do?

Invest in 3-4 GS lips, you WILL need them. ;(
Edit: You have 17" wheels? You will barely be able to drop her a half inch without hitting them on your fenders... If I'm not mistaken.

no issues with 17's at all. just make sure they are the correct offset

that's not offset that's the spacing between lug nuts (4 lugs, 100mm apart)
stock offset is 45mm
