ok i tried to search the forum for some useful information but this is what i got "Search term used: klze into a 4 cylinder ignored: klze into a 4" so im thinkin im not gonna find anything useful with those results haha
anyways, i own a GS right now that i have a KLZE in (my second one, 1st seized :/) and this one just blew something, white smoke and one of my cylinders is getting now compression where the other 5 are at like 220 so anyways i started looking for an MX3 to drive in the meantime (also because the body on mine isnt in the best shape so the plan was to buy another nicer looking MX3 drive it stock while i rebuild the KLZE and swap later).
i hope im not confusing. so to continue. i found one someones selling right down the street however! its unfortunately a 4 cylinder but looks pretty good from what i saw. it does have some problem where supposedly it wont come out of 4th? idk im going to look at it tomorrow and ill find more out. but before i go look at it i wanted to ask
THE REAL QUESTION (IN CASE ANYONE WANTS TO SKIP THE PROLOGUE):
will i be able to swap the KLZE into the 4cyl? (if so how hard is it and what will i need etc.) and if not would i be able to swap over the transmission from my KLZE to the 4 cylinder? (again how hard and so on) i read a little about it but i couldnt really understand if someone has some first hand knowledge of either swap (engine or tranny) that would be helpful.
I'm trying to stay loyal to the MX3 but so many issues (3rd blown engine, partly my fault i know) and so much money have me leaning towards honda or toyota :/ please help these insecurities go away haha
