Restart PC? Make sure it's not muted?

can you run the audio test in the bios? That will narrow things down a bit.

have you tried another set of speakers to rule out that issue? Also, could just be a blown circuit in the audio out on the motherboard...

If I go into Sounds and Audio Devices it says "no audio device"

Then it's either a hardware issue or you did something funky with the driver. Try rolling back to the previous driver?

Did you change any of your updates/drivers? I know my audio won't work without SP3.

good lord, go buy an audio card and install it. They are not expensive and you'd be done by now ;) lol
Do you know how to install new cards into the computer?

Of course, why would mine quit all of a sudden. They shouldn't just randomly burn out, maybe Toyota built it.

go to control panel -> system -> hardware -> device manager and tell us what it says for sound, video and game controllers. make sure there are no yellow exclamation points or unknown devices. if there are, see if any of them are audio devices

Thanks guys. Problem solved. Had to uninstall a few things that had exclamation point next to them and rescan for hardware and it fixed itself.
