European MX3 Special Edition?

Post by NLRisingSun »

Hello guys,

I have a (original German, i live in Holland) Mazda MX3 1.8 V6 from 1995 with electric roof and Airco.color: Noble Green

When i open mij right door there's a sticker/label wih your car's tech info like exterieur color,... at my sticker also saying: Special Edition.

Now, my question is, do i own a ''rare'' mx3? here in holland most mx3's dont have electric roof and airco.

And yes, i got the new style dashboard.

Greetings,

i don't think it is a special edition as my car says the same thing and it's a 4cyl so it's for sure not a special edition.
i was going to ask this in the past but felt like i might get flamed cause it might be common knowledge so i held off, thanks for taking the possible heat =P

Hehe,

Both of you thanks for the answer, also did a bit of research, there are 2000 european SE's made, mostly White exterieurs and a FEW one's with Noble green exterieur like mine...

But, well almost thought i'd had a special mx3 :P

as he said. special editions were only made in 1993 models

they had the old style dash not the newer one.

Yes, but in 1996 SE's were sold in Europe, the 1993's were 25th year's of Mazda in Canada.

do all stickers say Special Edition on them?
if not then why does mine? there's no way it can be a SE because it's 4cyl, amongst it having no leather anything, and being a 94 style dash

The interior on euro SE's are sexy!

Agree with Savin - Keep in mind there were "special edition" variants of the mx-3 in different parts of the world not captured on our site... For instance, I recently learned of a limited edition mx-3 in the UK called the MX-3 Equipe that had unique wheels and a few other options... http://www.uk-mx3.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... highlight=" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and to the OP, yes A/C is pretty rare in european mx-3's. Also I believe there is an NL mx-3 community with forums? Have you asked on there?

-The name :"Special Edition", is only a blank , a space, that could be, or not filled with the name of Special Edition,(example: "25th anniversary"). If it is a single "blank", without any reference, it is not a special edition mx-3, my car is a 4 cyl 1994/1995 and it have Special Edition in blank too marked in that label.
