water temp sensor

so i have been driving my 93 with the klde swap for a while and still having a little problem with it. i have the klde inlet tube on the motor and it only has the water temp sending unit. and one of the water temp sensors that tells the ecm how hot or cold it is. not haveing bouth temp sensors hooked up, would that make it run rich or funny.

if your using the original ec, then yes it will make it run rich and funny for sure, if anything swap out the sending unit for the ecm one and use that 1. the sending unit 1 is for dash only not the ecm, without the 1 for the ecm the car will not turn the fan on like it should (it goes into default mode) and it throws off the air fuel mix in addition it can make the idle surge on you.
