Starting issue, V6 -92

Post by Dalar »

Ok, here's the issue:

Right before New years-eve my mx3 V6 simply won't start. The battery is charged, I get power in the car (stereo etc).
The startengine turns and everything, it's just that final "twist" before it starts. The weather wasnt ideal I'll give it that, but now it's down to 0*C. I can't call myself a gearhead in any way, if you need more info, I'll edit the post.
Anyone got a clue?

So it's cranking but not sounds like it's picking up?

Have you got spark? Take a lead off a plug, put the end of it to a ground point like a cam cover bolt, and watch for spark as someone cranks the engine.

Got fuel? Do you smell fuel? Take out a plug and see if it's wet/smells of fuel.

I checked everything (just unplugged and plugged it back) and a miracle happened, she finally felt like starting :D
