Colins New toy!! Finally!

Post by colinsmx3 »

Yea.... so after ALOT of debate.... I went with the Ever so reliable HONDA! Yea I know... Hell froze over... I said a Honda would NEVER be in my garage... then again I am OK with a NSX or S2000... So I went with the S2k.
2003 Honda S2000
105000khms, 65000miles
AEM Intake
HKS Exhaust
Brembo Cross drilled and slotted rotors
Carbon fiber hood (needs to be recleared)
Carbon lip... going to paint OEM colour.

Rims will get powder coated black car will get dropped and thats it!!

ODD that the Fiancee actually let me get an S2k, 9 months b4 the wedding! ahah She understands I needed a summer car.... And she also gets a set of keys for herself!

Cool cars, and pretty fast around a track, but they like to swap ends without notice. Be careful.

I was yes... but the reliability of the Honda was way more then an FD. Plus it's newer and a roadster.

Newer and a roadster yes. Greater reliability, thats debatable. My friends with S2Ks have had way more issues than I have had with my FD. My FD has been far more reliable than all my MX-3s also, you just gotta take care of them.

The S2K is very nice though, congrats on the purchase. Now you gotta get the hardtop to go with it.

I went the opposite route funny enough, I was looking at S2Ks and then said forget that I'm getting my dream car and picked up the FD haha.

AHHHH There you are Illa!! After I made that comment I knew it wouldnt be long till you came on... it's like you have some sort of homing device when someone says FD! ahah
Yea... well there have been plenty of FD's that just dont like being daily driven! But you are right it is how you treat them! I figured I would keep this car for a while... Thats according to the wife also....
I would only get the ducktail hardtop... mmmmm sexy...
I am doing nothing major to it though, maybe in a few yrs I will. But for now it's staying semi stock till after the wedding in Aug!
