Haha sadly not! This was the reason the Ze came out:

Thanks Waspone, I like new things, if it's not new I try to make it look new! The engine stand made me actually want to bother doing it right, don't know why I didn't buy one sooner.

Mark, can you get me a closer pic of your oil pump, the suction area that protrudes? I wanna see what it looks like. Maybe PM me.

BTW, the motor looks awesome!

Haha look a few pages ago.. It's causing problems at the moment, so it's in the gearbox shop getting inspected :(

I don't know how there is so much stress to cause the cams to break like that. Were your bearings worn out/loose?

Thought I should update this!

I'm now running Megasquirt v3 board with coilpacks from a ford cougar :D Shaodome diagnosed my processor was faulty, so everything worked except the RPM input. I got it back, installed, and no problems- MS install is easy when your MS works

The sound is amazing now with no VAF :D The car is just dying to spin the wheels all through 2nd gear! I was shocked at the extra power, even with a base map. Videos and write up to come.

Here's my new improved IAC , jigsaw+dremel+some scrap alu, thanks to hppwdn for the idea :

I've a few other things on the go too, will update when they're working :)

Grrrreat!!
I'm jealous you beat me to the coilpacks. I'm going to try COP. I wish I could have afforded the adjustable cam gers :( For my IAC block-off, I cut an Aluminum can to fit between the IAC, and TB. I'll do mine like yours when I can get ahold of the tools. We need videos of your car doin stuff!
BTW, what did you do about your cam?

New valve cover :D with no stupid metal pipe at the front for crankcase ventilation, all in my quest for less stupid crap in the engine bay!

I'm also on the straight neck for a while, just experimenting :) Should have some more interesting updates in the coming weeks ;)

Haha just have to step it up with the COP eh :P I'm running plain ole kl01s, they feel pretty ballsy really! But after driving a k8 for a few weeks that's no surprise.
