[WTB] 94+ Style A/C Controller (Canadian Style sliders)

Post by onlytrueromeo »

I'm going to be swapping a 94+ dash in soon, and I don't have all the logic controllers so I can't use the bushbutton style controller. I have a slider style for the 94 dash, but its missing a knob and has no A/C.

So Basically, I need either the A/C switch for it, or the entire controller w/ the A/C switch.

Let me know! I'd like to get it sooner rather than later so I can swap the dashes soon!

To dispel confusion, this is what I need. Notice how there is a missing button on the right...thats for the A/C switch I need. I would really prefer to get the whole A/C controller so I don't have to have a missing knob too.

ah I didn't know what you were referencing at first... In my quest for international parts I stumbled across this for a different mazda (these were available on select euro mx-3 models) I bought one of those off of ebay... I believe it was for an older 626.

I just checked but I don't see any... maybe you have a JY near you with other mazdas?

If it's the pushbutton style controller and not the slider type, I would need the motors that the controller connects to to move the vents, etc. (logic type). This would actually be ideal, but you'd need to take apart the entire dash and I don't want to make someone do that at my expense just for those pieces. If you're confused by what I just said, I can get more pictures to explain.

Ha Ha the dash is completely apart. I've taken all the buttons, switches, relays, everything. Right now we're starting to fill the car with scrap to take to the metal dude. I'll have a look. Like I said there's a 96 I'm going to gut as well.

hmm...well then if its all gutted and you have the parts...I wouldn't mind driving up to pick up ALL the stuff (controller + logic style motors and stuff) I'd need to make the dash swap perfect! If you got the other type (the one the FS post is for, thats good too! I'm only 3 hours away (+ time getting harassed by border security) Get me pictures if you can! Thanks!

Sorry man I 've got the slider one but no A/C button. We're gutting a 96 starting,,,well, I took the emblems off to day. lol It has of course the 96 dash and an A/C button with the button controls (no A/C in car). Wait and I'll have a look at the local PicknPull, easier just to replace the one you have right?

The slider controller I took the picture of came in a car that I got the dash from...car did not have A/C and where you see the plug there was a blank plate over it, I removed it so I could see if there were wires going to it, which there are.
