Pic Request: Polished and painted intake manifold

Post by solo_ryder »

So I am NOT looking for a pic of a polished IM. I know what that looks like. I am looking for a pic of a IM that has been polished (or smoothed out) and painted, so that there is no real texture, just a smooth finish. Here is a example of what I mean:

But I dont want non of that pumpkin s---. I realize that those may just be powdercoated, but you see the smooth texture I am talking about. Anyone have pics? I am looking for BLACK or GUNMETAL, but anything will do!

I already asked the question there on PT and got the answer I needed. Peep my worklog for the results.

will not powder coating save you time and you get great results? -also last longer than any paint you can ever buy.

Yea powdercoating is awesome. I just didnt wanna fork out 100 bucks right now to do it. So I rattle canned it and got good results. I was more or less interested in color combos
