Heat And Air.

durring a big ran storm my heat and air started to not work. i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Is it the switch, or the fan motor. speed 2 and 4 went first then 1 and then 3. so i have nothing. air still comes throw when i drive but thats all.

I'd say the switch most likely. The fact that it happened during a rainstorm is probably coincidence. It has been corroding away for 12 - 15 years. If they had all stopped working at once I would have said fan, but because they gave out a couple at a time, I think the various contacts on the switch are just so rusty that they don't form a circuit anymore.

Ok. So just take the whole thing out and replace it.

You may be able to clean it up with some steel wool or a brass brush. That's the first thing I'd check. If that doesn't solve it look at the fan motor.
