Looking not just an ordinary mechanic

Post by Frank Profit »

I have a KLZE engine that i want installed by a pro. I'm in the edmonton area but will drive a few hours to bring it to them. My question is does anyone know a very good place to do the swap. Someone thats famillar with this work and knows about what is needed and about the JDM ecu thing. This forum i'm sure i'll find the answer i'm looking for becuase this forum has helped me with all my MX3 needs. Thanks guys any help you'd be appreciated

I am in calgary and have done the swap now 3 times. I would be willing to do it for you and I have a certified Mechanic that can help. PM me if you are interested. if you have all of the parts we could work out a deal of some sort (localy they would charge 3500-4000 for the engine and installation). I have all of the tools and lift, it would prob take a weekend +/- a couple days

Sounds like a good offer. Frank if you don't have to place or equipment to do the swap farming it out would be a prudent course of action BUT. If you can secure a place to do the swap, you can get your hands on an engine hoist and don't mind getting your hands dirty there's no mystery to doing this swap. rece with his experience can probably help you avoid some of the shortfalls we've all had to work through. Good luck and enjoy the added inches a ZE install will give you.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

So far I average it out to be about 2.5" from what I've heard. ZE is a non Pharmaceutical method for male enhancement. JDM mechanic recommended, ZE car owner approved.
