Ok guys...this is your absolute last chance to be able to get booked in the group. I've checked out the site and I can reserve for the 17 starting on the 17th. So I need your info by tomorrow night AT THE LATEST!.

Ovendenk: did you get your plates yet?? if not. I'll try to get around it.

Darcy: did you decide which car yet??

Jesse: can you get me your plate numbers of which will be there.

Everyone else needs to get me thier info if they want to be lumped in with the group. If you want to book your own site, just let me know, then I can cross you off my list.

I think we should still do Fintry. If we book now, we can probably get a decent treed spot. I don't mind the drive provided we're not doing it three times a day. I've got a sedan, so we can CARPOOL! wheeeee

I agree fintry is better than nothing, given that we can be guaranteed a shady spot on the grounds. I can also see if my mom can help for a site as she lives in penticton and will most likely drive. I will also be going on may 10 so we can take a look for what might be avail., If they have a group site, we should book that. and someone should modify the title of this to say the dates for thoes that are just getting the information for the first time, so they dont have to scroll the whole post to find the date.

Quick update:

I just talked to Monte and he'll change the post title to include the dates: July 17-21.

I checked the discover camping website and Fintry has lots of sites available for those dates. I'm going to call them in the next two days and ask if we can book specific sites to try to get some shade. As for the group site at Fintry, it was right out in the open, off to the left as we drove in past the waterfalls. I don't think that it would be a great place to be considering it has no shade at all and it's not close to the water ( I don't want to pull the boat out every day if I can help it).

Speaking of the boat, I went out for a test run on Saturday...what a BLAST!!! It ran pretty good considering the guy I bought it from didn't ever maintain it. It will be going to a mechinc friend of mine to get a tune-up before the meet so it runs top-notch. Today, Sunday, I spent most of the day putting the new Clarion Marine stereo and Sirius Radio into it. I'll be going for another test run to see how well the stereo sounds when on the water. It did sound pretty cool in the driveway.

I've got Mark, Darcy, Jen, Jesse, and Ovendenk booked solid with plate numbers and tents and all. I'm still waiting for James, Kevin Gee, Taras, Josh, and any others to get me their info if they want me to do the bookings.

I'll post again with the info I get before I book the sites.

Thanks for looking after this, you guys. Much appreciated.

I'll see if I can snag my brother's wakeboard for the trip. (It's older, but still rides nice)

Well everyone...I booked the last four reserveable sites left for the Saturday. Those sites are for as follows:

Site 1: Monte and I
Site 2: Jesse, wife(sry...don't rmbr her name) and child, and Steven
Site 3: Mark and Darcy
Site 4: Ovendenk and Jen

You can check up online or call on occasion to see if there are any cancellations, or see if there are going to be any first come, first serve sites available, but that's the last I can do for anyone. The total per site owed to me is $115.00 There is an extra vehicle charge when you get there that can be paid directly to the site operator.

Darcy...if you could get that wakeboard that would be sweet, cause I don't know if I'll be able to afford one by that time. Any questions, feel free to contact me.
