Salvage/Weckers in Calgary

Post by hutch »

Hi,
Are there any weckers in Calgary that will pay for non-running cars. My MX-3 is dead (probally the disty but could also be the wiring) and am trying to decied what to do with the carcus. I am too inept to part it out, so its down to trying to sell it on craigs list or calling in the salvagers.

Any recommendations as to a weckers or would i be better off trying to sell it?

Cheers Hutch

Hey Seven,
I was pretty much prepared for the worse in terms of wreckers.

Its a 92 blaze red v6 its got pretty high km (290k approx), the body is in good shape. It was running great then I took it in to get a service and it would not start at the garage. Apartently the disty does not put out enough spark so its probally a candiate for hei mod but i don't have the time or skill to do it (plus having no garage means working on it out in the cold)

If you are still intersted drop me an email to hutchinson_keith@hotmail.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, i'll clear the snow off it and take some photos over the weekend.

Its a manual, not burning any oil and haven't had to add a drop of oil since i've had it (I bought it in August from the auctions (lesson learnt). I'm only looking to get back some of the cash i've throw at it. I've really got no idea how much a dead car is worth drop me an email with suggestion, i'm fairly flexible as it still insured and is costing me cash every day it sits there.

Appologies to Admin I know its not a selling forum, please don't delete. 8)
