New Forum Version Implemented, Post Bugs Here

Post by MX-3.com »

As you can see, the new forum version has been implemented.
Please post any items you feel require changes here in this thread, so I can take action as required to make those changes.

By the way how does it look?

I like it better. There is definitly some new features.

The banner on the top of the page should be changed a bit. It looks old and it doesn't exactly match the background of the forum. But I donno some stuff will probably take some time.

I figured it was a work in progress.

I am also running a 1280x800 resolution on my laptop and theres big spaces at the sides. I am not sure if this can be changed or not but the old forum is was perfect.

Pure sex, love it. I also noticed that it could be abit wider or something like that.

About the banner at the top, It was the only things that made it clear to me that I was still on the mx-3 forum haha...but it should be cahnged to match the 'new' style.

Other than that I think it looks really good, i'll have to do some more fooling around with freatures.

I'm liking the new forum, however my password has been lost, and the email for a new one gets sent to my original email address i signed up with which i no longer have access to instead of the current one my account was updated with.
This is Deimos btw (Ian)

I've been meaning to change my username anyway, but I had alot of posts with the other one :(

e-mail me with the username and e-mail account you wish to use and we will get it straightened out. Prefer if people didn't register with multiple accounts on the forums.

Thanks,

I ahve ran forums before. Any admin can change usernames. So in which case as Jeff said email him and let him know the email address that youw ant to use for the Diemos account and he will set that back up for you. He can also change the name to Devlin and then delete this new account you created. The Joy of being Admin eh...lol

Nice new banner, and it fits a bigger resolution now. I just noticed at the bottom where it shows who is online there is 2 bots, one Yahoo and another Google. whats up with these. What do they do.

Barry modified the banner for me this morning, and I just added it, and made the forum table span 95% of the width of the window. (minimum size is 800 pixels wide thogh.)

I need to modify the banner still to include the MX-3.com Site Donation link. (need to pay the bills!!) :P

The bots are all over the internet, and basically search the site/forum pages to include in the search engines. I can deactivate them, but will leave them on unless they start to cause problems.
