Post by TREVO123 »

Does the 1.6 Dohc Clutch work with the 1.6sohc? I tryed searchin, but didnt find deffinate answers. I think it will work, dont really see a diff as it is still a F-series trans...but it may be like the bp where you have to swap the flywheel.. Please let me know..

thanks, TREVO

i dont think they would. according to the part #'s none of them match and the size of them are different.
the dohc clutch is physically larger then the sohc and the flywheels dowels are different so i dont think they would. but i would wait and see if anyone else responds who actually have tried this. good luck

u know .. a sohc clutch is only like 65$ shipped at most .. and if you want to go exedy its 100$ shipped. why do you need to go through all the trouble of fitmet, returns, fw changes shimmin, etc..
