quife makes a diff cost around 1300-1600 depending where u get it from so its a arm and a leg for that item. there probly are other brands that i don't know off anyone out there know of anymore.

the kia g-series trans is somewhat beefier than than the mazda g-series trans.

bigger axles ect ect.. i already shatterd a diff in the kia trans already. just my luck.. buts its a upgrade to the mazda g-series trans for these guys out there making some good WHP #'s

A BP

is a 1.8 dohc N/A mazda motor that is neated in a
90-94 mazda protege
94-01 mazda miata
escort GT forgot which years
some merucry tracer models
94-98 kia sophia GS

the BPT
is the turbo vesion of the BP that exist over in japan or other than the US.

1.8 dohc that can be found in a 323 GTR/GTX there 2 versions on the BPT.

most mx-3 guys go that route to be boosted. overated motor if u ask me.

i hope that answers ur ? and u do mean a 1.8 4cly since u never stated what kind of mx-3 nor info on eng spec's which could us other guys willing to help u answers ur ?'s i can't read ur mind ya know./
