erratic temp guage
erratic temp guage
92 mx-3 1.8l v6. in the last two days i've notice my temp guage is erratic. is this a common problem with the sending unit or the guage in the cluster?

The sending unit is more problematic than the gauge cluster. However.. if you have had a water leak inside your car.. you might have corrosion build up inside the cluster. I have recently encountered such corrosion.. but it didnt affect that particular cluster. I would check the sending unit first though.
