so you dont use a chipped one just plain ol k8 ecu and the de vaf? is that correct?

u can use many many combos but yes u can leave ur stock k8 ecu in the car and switch out the VAF to a kl-02 from a ford probe,mx6,626 just an in my opinion ive tried all ecu available and im most happy with the K8 ECU and DE VAF the high end power is just nicer i find.. alsso the DE ECU with DE VAF is my 2nd fav even on a ZE

its cheapest only at the cost of the vaf can usually be had for 10-50 bux

ha :lol: well if i ever do the ze swap after college looks like this will be the way i go, but im thinking about a higher end car after college like bmw or porsche once i get money flowing

but kl-ze is designed by porsche wooooo so ur driving something with a high end heart for only a lil bit of moola ;)

all kl series motors are designed by Porsche engineers.


and to be exact its just the 2 piece block tha was designed by Porsche...rest was done by Mazda!

tranny works. all your mounts work with the ze. Its pretty much like putting the same engine in.
