smashed into curb, fronth right wheel pushed in, and rubbing

Post by Jazen »

hey guys,

last week, stupidly, i hit a curb at about 30 km/h, and my front right wheel is pushed in, like i may have snapped something.

would anyone know what's most likely broken, and aproxx. how much repair cost would be?

thanks

I did that once in my old car but faster. didnt realize it bent the frame until i tried to put some 18's on so we took it to the shop to get the frame stretched back into place it was like $700

yeah i will get some pics for you. I had my buddy look at it last night, and we jacked it up and tok the wheel off, then I could clearly see i had bent the lower controller arm.

anyone know what they go for? and if maybe it can just pulled and straightened out?

I hit a curb doing at least 40+ mph and it broke the rear peg that comes out of the control arm  cracked it in half

Luckily I had a spare :) You could check your local junkyard - I don't know how much they would charge...
