I finally did it :(

Post by nightfire »

I scraped one of my mags on a curb.

I knew it would happen one day but I didn't think it would be this soon. Stupid early morning not paying attention...

Anyone know how to repair these things? Is it possible? Or do I have to send them somewhere?

There is a place on Hymus in Ville St. Laurent across from the Volvo Truck dealer. It's right were Hymus becomes Henri Bourassa on the south side of the 40. Lazer sends all the wheels customers drop to this shop. The guys there do really good work and are no afraid to tell you when the cost of buying a new wheel is almost the price of the repair. Being a part of the automotive community in MTL for so long I just refer to shops by the owners names so can for the life of me remember the name of the company.

Thanks again Yoda... I'll check them out.

I still can't believe I did it. It was one of those curbs that angles in towards the road that got me. It looked perpendicular as I was approaching it but at some spots it must have had an overhang.

I'm parking 6" away from now on.
