1992 MX-3 motor question

hello i am new to the site and the mx-3 i recently picked up is the stock motor a interferance engine?

thank mazda for that most the mazda motors are noninterference like the b-series and k-series mazda motors.

i snap a timing belt on my 1.8 dohc bp motor and replaced it and was up and running in no tyme.

Mis-timed a K series motor many times- tried to crank it, found that the timing was wrong, reset it and viola- good to go. ;) Thank you Mazda! I swear other manufacturers make interference motors just to sell more replacement engines...
