Post by sk8erdude28 »

I got a set of manual belts for sale. They're gray and are frmo an Escort GT. Should fit without a problem. The set includes, the female part, the belts, hardware, and the bracket that is under the carpet.

Asking $50 plus shipping. Price semi-negotiable.

Pm me.

92-93 had power seatbelts. 94+ had manual.
I have a 92, 93 and now 2 94's. The 92 and 93 power belts don't work at all. I'd be interested in changing my 93 over, but I kinda like not having to stretch as far to fasten the belt as just to grab the belt in the 94's. It's only about 6 inches, but it counts.

Just wanted to clarify the 94 and up had manual belts, in the US
93 GS, ATX to MTX swap, chrome 16x7, upper strut bars, SRD LCA bushings.
Upcoming improvements: Tokico/Eibach struts/springs, energy suspension LCA bushings
94 RS MTX, Engine swap completed, ALIVE Again!
95 RS ATX, parts car/project X

isn't there more required to do a manual seat belt swap than just the seat belt units? what about the paneling, do you have that?

Depends. Some people use the canadian spec manual panels, some use their old ones and just make them work. How? I don't know, Never seen it haha.

The price is considerably more with the panels because of their size for shipping, weight, and buyinfg them from a JY.
