Hi guys,
i need a help. I have read the forum, but i don't understand exactly some things.....
I have a 92 mx3 1.8l v6 (OBD1), and i'd like to install a 2.5l v6 KLZE.
The questions are:
i find many engines on ebay, but what kind of ecu/engine i must buy?
i find 2 kind of ecu KL01, KL36, which i must buy?
Can i use my vaf or i must replace it with another?
Thanx to all in advance for the help

if you got a true klze you can use your stock computer and your stock VAF, ive ran this combo for a LONG time....and i would still be running it like that but now im boosted so i dont have a VAF..and i use MSnS instead of the stock comp.
You can also look for the KLZE comp or a remapped one.

Or you could get a probinator chip. Works well, and you save yourself 200 dollars.
Engines on ebay: not the BEST idea. Its good to be able to see your engine before you buy it to do a compression test, look under the valve covers.
If you want one on ebay check the feed back. Also, there are two types. KLZE's with straigh neck intake manfiold, and klze's with curve neck intake manfiolds. Straight neck KLZE's have more agressive cams, but won't fit in the mx-3 UNLESS you put on a millenia intake manifold.
As for computers, your best bet is running the KLZE is to rechip your ECU. it's 45 dollars from probinator, and it cuts the EGR code, gets you the right VRIS points, and it doesn't run rich. That will mach up with your mx-3 (stock) VAF.
