do 93 Mx-3 have cupholders???

Ive have 2 93 MX-3 GS and both of them have ashtrays.... ive been looking in wreckers EVERYWHERE for cupholders and i cant find them anywhere

can someone help me out! i dont smoke and i have no use for an ashtray lol

as far as i know, it doesnt, i have a 93gs also, and dont have one so *shrug*, i wish i had one though, i just used my ebrake to hold a bottle still though, its a neat little trick i picked up

I usually stick cans of pop between the side of the seat and the door.. i find that works too! but then i forget its there

lol crap! i found cupholders for a 94 but theres no way im tearing apart my whole dash just for cupholders

You should have a cupholder inside your centercolumn glove box.. flip open the top and there should be a fold down cup holder. Its just a single and wont hold anything bigger than a pop can or bottle.. maybe a latte if your into that stuff. But I suppose its better than nothing.

Some came with an insert that sits in your center console to hold them. I had one, but I threw it away cause my console was broken.

This has nothing to do with V6 Technical, moved to General.

Like Tunes Said, there is one dinky metal ring that flips down inside the lid of your center console. It wont really hold anything though, or keep it upright if you have to stop quickly! LOL

Well, you can also get the double-deck center console. that has a 2 cup holder on the lid, 4 is you use and get the insert.

As well, there's alternative. You can get "JDM" din cupholders on eBay once in a while

Or get a din cup holder w/change tray from a Ford Taurus, I used that for a bit too..

I didn't know about the console, I am going to check that out. So far I thought I was outta luck and just put a crappy tire cup holder in the front air vent until I could come up with something better in appearance and function...thanks

One think I wanted to try is to fit the 94+ dash cupholders into the 92-93 dash. I have the cupholders. I just need to figure out/find out if it's fesable/doable, especially, i'd be sacrificing my cig lighter outlet, which I use to chage my cell phone
