I have decided to start looking for a BPT, since my birthday is coming up and i'm hoping that my parents might help me out a bit with buying it if I can find one soon.
Anyone who has any recomendations as to where I can buy a BPT for a good price please let me know! I am in Ontario so the closer it is to there, the better!!
If a tranny is available too that would be awesome, if not, then I'll try to find one in a junkyard.

Most engine importers will have the awd tranny attached to the engine, since its useless to you get them to remove it which will save you shipping and give you a break in the price. Everybody recommends going with the protege tranny but you could get away with using the mx3 tranny as long as you upgrade the clutch. I am not talking out off my a-- here as a friend of mine has a bpt in his 323 and he's been using the 323 tranny (act clutch) for over a year now! It's all about how you drive and specifically how you launch off the line... Now lets talk about that mani you will no longer be needing Boris. With purchasing another mx-3 and the hollidays I am kinda broke but I really want to take it off your hands.
95 RS so far just a paintjob, rims suspension next then turbo...

I have turbo dreams and detanation nightmaresI could probably get away without using the prolx tranny but I think I would rather use it for piece of mind. I'll prolly try and find a kia transmission, as i heard their axles are bigger. My mx is a daily driver, after all, so i want it to be reliable.
The mani is yours, as long as you still want it and got the cash. She'll be waitin for ya man. I won't be able to ship it until Jan.8th or later anyways, as it is still in my residence room which is locked up for the holidays!

I hear you on the reliability, that is defiantly one of my concerns in my project. I have all these plans to turbo the mx that i havent even recieved yet and I always get scared that when I get it it will be all rusted or something wrong with it. After all I have never seen this car with my own eyes
.I still can't believe I bought a car without looking at it... I keep hearing all these horror stories that cars in Ontario are rustier then cars here... But if the car is as good as it looks on the pics the turbo is a definite go! So far my biggest issue is locating a vj-14 as there are no gtxs around here and I doubt a brand new unit will be cheap....
About the mani: i definatly want it. It is used correct? If it is are you sure it's not cracked cause I hear a lot of them are. Thanks Boris

You know what, let me talk to my buddy who is good friends with the owner of jdmsource. I will see if I can maybe get you a bit of a break in price on the bpt he has there... Worth a try anyway

I have turbo dreams and detanation nightmaresThe mani is brand new, never used. It has a T3 flange already welded on to it, so if you can find a T3 turbo bolt that on. For a T3, look on ebay... I've seen CRAZY cheap NEW turbos...like $300 for a brand new garrett turbo with a warantee
Thanks for checkin if I can get a break on the BP!! Just let me know when you want the mani and she will be yours.

nope those are the pics... It looks kind of used on those pictures, but i'm positive it's new. Looks kind of rusty, I know. Perhaps it needs some sort of rustproofing before installed? I dunno man haha talk to me on msn bout it though! I can also take more pics.
