'Gas Mileage RS stick vs GS stick
specs on mx-3 page says:
RS stick 49/35
GS stick 37/26
can it be that much difference?
highway 12 miles /gal difference
city 11 miles/ gal difference
I have a 95 RS and I never have gotten 49 mpg
so what gives?

well it says
Transport Canada Fuel Economy Ratings
City Highway
Manual transmission: RS 8.1 L/100 km (35 mpg) 5.8 L/100 km (49 mpg)
Manual transmission: GS 10.7 L/100 km (26 mpg) 7.7 L/100 km (37 mpg)
Automatic transmission: RS 9.4 L/100 km (30 mpg) 6.4 L/100 km (44 mpg)
Automatic transmission: GS 12.3 L/100 km (23 mpg) 8.0 L/100 km (35 mpg)
So its MPG, to me it means miles per gallon not km per liter or gal.

I've been getting 280 miles per tank (but still got about a 1/8th of tank left).
that's 280 miles per (about) 9 gallons (US liquid).
about 450 km per (about) 34 litres (canada I guess).
so that's about 31.1 mpg or 13.23 km/litre
and that's after about four months on recording gas receipts. Most of it is sort of city driving at about 70km/hour or 43miles/hour.
pretty happy with this after about a year of only getting 20mpg (lots of problems to work out of the used BP engine from Utah)
