Calgary Secret Street Night - Aug 18th

Hey Alberta members.

Sorry about the lack of events lately but I guess people have been busy with Summer Vacations, work, weddings, etc.

Since we didn't get around to having a trip to Secret Street last month, we might as well do it now. The battle plan is for Friday, August 18th. I hope that date works for everyone. I did not want to make it any earlier due to some people taking vactions over the August long weekend.

I guess we'll try to meet up at the 52St SE Tim Hortons at 7:00pm and then head to Race City for 7:30pm. This is mainly for people getting the tech inspection done on their car for racing. People just coming to watch can show up later. The show starts at 9:00pm sharp. There is a bit of info up on the MX-West Alberta site in the future events section. Remember to bring cash since Race City doesn't handle debit very well.

Who's planning to go? I will go but I'm not sure if my car will be up for racing. The ZE isn't doing so good and I have to repair my engine mounts before I even think about racing.

I work until 10:30 that night, so I guess I won't be racing. Too bad, cause I had a lot of fun last year

If no one goes, I won't go. I'm definitely not racing since my engine isn't even in my car right now and is sitting in a thousand pieces all over the garage. I would just be going to watch. But if none else is going, then there is no point.
